The council is seeking a motivated individual for the Casual position of Turf Services Operator / Groundsperson. This role is essential for undertaking specialist turf maintenance and general labouring throughout Council's Parks, Roadside, and Conservation areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain large ride-on equipment and other plant/equipment for turf services (45% of the role).

• Carry out a range of Parks and Conservation maintenance and construction labouring duties (25% of the role).

• Pro-actively identify and report workplace safety hazards/issues.

• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Current Class C Drivers Licence with the ability to obtain a minimum LR class.

• Successful completion of a Medical Questionnaire, Physical Assessment, and a Functional Capacity Assessment with the Occupational Therapist.

Desirable Skills:

• Qualifications in turf maintenance.

• LR class Licence or above.

• Demonstrated experience in a large-scale, high-volume turf mowing and maintenance operation.
